Bernhard Kolsch joins the Antara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel, UAE as Director of People & Culture. Bernhard joins from the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles where he was Senior Director of People & Culture
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts have announced the appointment of Phil McAveety as CEO. Previously Phil was Executive Vice President & Brand Officer at Starwood Hotels & Resorts
Paul Smith has joined Hylant Hotels Corporation as Risk Management Director. Paul’s previous role was as Director of Insurance for FirstGroup America.
Four Seasons Jakarta has announced that Juergen Kreipl is to take the role of General Manager. Juergen previously held the same role at Four Seasons Geneva.
John Surendranath joins Grand Mercure Mysore as General Manager from the Novotel Chennai Sipcot where he held the role of Director of Operations
Vishesh Mahajan has been appointed Director of Catering at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru. Vishesh was previously Director of Sales, Events & Planning at the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon.
Focus Hotels have appointed Devin Grosse as their new CEO. Devin joins Focus from Aimbridge where he was Vice President of Operations.
Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai have announced the promotion of Kiran Muniraj from Director of Rooms to Director of Operations.
Ermanno Zanini has been promoted to Regional Vice President at the Jumeirah Group, South Europe and UK. Ermanno was previously Regional Vice President of Italy & Spain.
Mike Kass is joining Highgate Hotels as Area Managing Director. Mike previously held the role of General Manager at the Marriott International.
The Fairmont Dallas has announced the appointment of Elvira Velez as Director of Catering & Conference Services and the promotion of Rob DeCanter to Senior Director of Group Sales. Elvira previously held the same role at Remington Hotels and Rob held the role of Director of Group Sales.
Jasmin Salihbegovic has joined the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort as Director of Sales. Jasmin was previously Cluster Sales Manager at IHG Cluster Berlin.
Adam Heffron has joined the Conrad Washington DC as General Manager from the Conrad Los Angeles where he held the same role.
The Westin Atlanta Gwinnet have appointed Mark Castriota as General Manager. Mark was previously at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District as Managing Director.
Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa have announced the appointments of Jon Itoga and Tiare Tipota. Jon is joining as General Manager from Marriott Vacation Worldwide where he was Assistant Vice President of Operational Finance. Tiare has been appointed Director of Event Management and she joins from Accel Events & Tents where she held the role of Director of Sales & Marketing.
Alex Lane has joined Tetra Hotel, an Autograph Collection Hotel as Campus General Manager. Previously, Alex held the same role at Hotel Citrine.
Cape Resorts have announced that Kate Harth is joining them as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Her prior role was with Fulcrum Hospitality as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Iris Junge has been appointed General Manager at The Gwen, Chicago. Previously Iris held the same role at Allegro Royal Sonesta.
Previously Executive Chef, Sanjeev Ranjan has been promoted to Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Chandigarh.
St Regis Abu Dhabi has announced the promotion of Carolin Henze from Sales Manager to their new Director of Sales.
Amanda Hyndman and Francesco Cefalu have both been promoted at Mandarin Oriental. Amanda has taken the role of Chief People Officer and Francesco, Chief Development Officer.
Siddhant Salgaonkar has been promoted from Associate Director of Sales to Director of Sales at Hilton Goa Resort.
Kimpton The Rowan Palm Springs has appointed Jerry Perez as Director of Food & Beverage. Jerry was previously at Hyatt Joie de Vivre Hotels in the same role.
Taj Cape Town has announced the recent appointment of Carmen Rhodes as its Director of Sales & Marketing. Carmen was previously Newmark Hotels’ Group Head of Sales.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has named Jolyon Bulley as its new CEO for the Americas. Jolyon most recently served as CEO for the Greater China region at IHG and he will take over the role from Elie Maalouf who was named IHG’s new group CEO earlier this month.
Harun Dursun has joined Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab as Managing Director. Harun joins from Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul where he was General Manager.
W Hotels Goa announces the promotion of Ajay Jawhar Sharma to Executive Assistant Manager (Beverage & Food), having previously carried the role of Director of Beverage & Food.
Marriott International is announcing that Brian Povinelli has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Global Head of Marketing & Brand. Brian has been with Marriott since its acquisition of Starwood Hotels in 2016 serving as Senior Vice President, Global Brand, Portfolio & Loyalty Marketing.
Claridges have confirmed that Culinary Director Dmitri Magi will leave the hotel at the end of July to pursue new opportunities in the industry.
AC Hotel San Rafael, due to open in Summer 2023, is pleased to announce the following members of its pre-opening executive team: General Manager Mark Pope, Director of Sales Aashna Grewal and Director of Engineering & Style Jesus Avila.
