Joshua Sloser has been named as the new Chief Commercial Officer for Choice Hotels International . He brings more than twenty years of experience to the role, having previously served as Global Senior Vice President, Customer & Commercial Innovation at McDonald’s.
Raphael Bick has been named as the new Chief Information Officer for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group . He brings over 20 years of tech, AI and digital experience to the role, having previously led transformations for businesses across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the US.
Jana Warken has been announced as the new HR Director for B&B Hotels in Central and Northern Europe. Jana joins from JUWI GmbH where she served as the HR Director and in her new role, will be responsible for the entire HR function, including talent, employer branding, and operational excellence.
Minor Hotels has appointed Russell Cool as Director of Operations for its portfolio of properties across Australasia. Russell joined the group in February of this year as the region’s Director of Franchising.
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Ramnik Choudhary as Area Director of Commercials for South West Asia and Director of Commercials at Crowne Plaza Today Gurugram. He brings extensive experience to the role having been with the group for three years, joining from his most recent position at InterContinental, Jaipur.
Starwood Hotels has announced the appointment of Gonzalo Bustamante as Senior Vice President of Design. He joins from MGM Resorts International where he held the role of Executive Vice President of Design and Development.
Dallas-based hotel group Omni Hotels & Resorts has promoted Laura Trussell McKoy to the role of Chief Creative Officer, with responsibility for leading the interior design for both renovations and new developments, and the brand’s overall creative vision. She has been with the group since 2007 and previously held the role of Creative Director & Vice President, Interior Design.
Nicholas Heath has taken the role of General Manager for the St Regis, Singapore . He joined Marriott in 2007 and most recently served as the General Manager of JW Marriott Hotel, Singapore South Beach.
Suresh Ferdinandusz has joined Anantara World Islands Resort as Director of Operations. For the past six years he has served at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, playing a critical role in their food and beverage operations.
Hilton has named Meltem Erbay as the Director of Operations for DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa, Marjan Island. Her previous experience spans hotel operations, pre-openings and F&B and has worked with multiple properties in the region previously including Waldorf Astoria, Doha and Conrad, Instanbul Bosphorus.
Diana Soeiro has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Bairro Alto Hotel in Lisbon. Her career includes roles with leading brands including Sublime Hotels, Westin Hotels, Minor Hotels and Tivoli Hotels & Resorts.
Marriott International has announced the promotion of Suziane Spencer to the role of Director of Sales & Marketing for the Sheraton, Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. She joined the group in 2022 and has held the role of Director of Sales at the property since October 2024.
