Neil Jacobs has announced he is stepping down from his role as Chief Executive Officer for ultra-luxury resort brand, Six Senses after 13 years. During his tenure he has led the brand through major expansion and the pre-pandemic acquisition by InterContinental Hotels Group.
Sonder has announced that Co-founder Francis Davidson has stepped down from his role as CEO following the integration with Marriott. Chairperson of the Board Janice Sears is acting as Interim CEO.
Nordic hotel group Core Hospitality has announced the appointment of Bo J Bleeg as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for strengthening the group’s strategic and financial direction for the next phase of their growth across the Nordics. He brings more than 25 years of experience from both the private sector and international organisations, joining from his most recent role as CFO for Save the Children, Denmark.
Jared Schlosser has taken the role of Head of Originations for all commercial real estate and hotel lending at Peachtree , in addition to continuing his current role as head of the group’s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy lending program. Jared has been with the group since 2019.
Stonebridge has appointed Adam Snow as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Adam has previously held senior level strategic roles for companies including Aimbridge Hospitality, Dine Brands and The Walt Disney Company.
Okura Nikko Hotel Management , a subsidiary of Hotel Okura Co. has appointed Hidechika Takasaka as President and Representative Director. He joined Hotel Okura in 2024 as Senior Managing Executive Officer and Chief Officer of Operation Management.
Indian hotel group The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced several key leadership promotions including; Basant Sabu to the role of Vice President, Business Development & Feasibility. Devraj Holder to Associate Vice President, Operations, North India. Kevin Ashley Martis to Associate Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Western India. And Vinod Cougnery to Associate Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Maharashtra,
Marriott has named Romain Mejecaze as the new General Manager for La Ville Hotel & Suites in Dubai. In his prior role, Romain served as Senior Director of Operations, Luxury Middle East with the group, managing a portfolio of 66 properties.
Danilo Paolella has joined Alila Kothaifaru Maldives as the resort’s new Director of Food & Beverage. Danilo brings over two decades worth of global hospitality experience including previous roles with Four Seasons, Park Hyatt and Falkensteiner Group.
Himanshu Tyagi has joined Aloft, Muscat, part of the Marriott International portfolio, as the new Director of Food & Beverage. He brings over a decade of experience and he has also been recognised in Hotelier Middle East’s “30 under 30” for his work spearheading the launch of several award-winning restaurant concepts.
InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Fady Atwan as Area Commercial Director for InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa alongside his role leading commercial operations at voco Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road, where he has played a key role in launching the first voco hotel in the Middle East.
Declan Murphy has joined Choice Hotels as Director, Franchise Development for Canada. Prior to joining Choice, he spent nine years with workplace solutions company IWG most recently serving as Director of Partnership Growth.
Shangri-La, Dubai has appointed Anita Drahos-Nambiar as Director of Marketing & Communications. She has held key leadership positions with global brands including Hard Rock Hotel, Budapest, Royal Caribbean Arabia and most recently, IHG at Dubai Festival City.
Hilton has announced the appointment of Melville Gracias as Cluster Director of Sales for Hilton, Dubai Jumeirah and Hilton, Dubai The Walk. Prior to joining the group, Melville lead commercial teams at Two Seasons Hotel & Apartments, and Vintage Grand Hotel.
Tushnar Garg has joined Fairmont, Mount Kenya Safari Club as Director of Sales & Marketing. Most recently he served as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott, overseeing one of the largest hospitality complexes in Hyderabad.
