Jonathan Pollack has joined Starwood Capital Group as President. Jonathan brings more than 26 years’ experience in real estate investing to the role and previously served with Blackstone Group as Global Head of their real estate credit business; BREDS.
Accor has announced the appointment of Vineet Mishra as Vice President, Operations for India and South Asia. Vineet was previously in the role of Complex General Manager for Pullman and Novotel New Delhi Aerocity.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Michael Calixte as Regional Vice President of Fairmont, Morocco and General Manager of Fairmont, Royal Palm Marrakech. Michael has been with the Accor group since 1985, serving in many of the group’s brands across 13 countries.
Andrew Grant has joined Langham Hospitality Group in the newly created role of Group Director of Music. Andrew will design and implement music programming across the group’s portfolio and will also be involved in planning the celebrations for this year’s 160th anniversary of The Langham Hotels & Resorts. Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in the music industry, holding roles including Resident DJ at DC10 nightclub in Ibiza and producer for Barraca Music.
Nomad, Londonannounces the appointment of Serena Lightener to the role of General Manager. Serena has more than thirty years’ experience in the industry and was previously Managing Director for Chiltern Firehouse.
Gary Ricehas been promoted by luxury five-star hotel Cameron House on Loch Lomond to the role of Hotel General Manager from his previous position as Director of Operations.
Mayfair Hotels and Resorts has named Varun Mehrotra as Assistant Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Varun has prior experience with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, The Leela and Zuri Hotels and Resorts.
Kenji Fukunaga has been named as the new General Manager for the Halekulani, Okinawa , the only double five-star luxury resort in the city. Kenji joins from Hyatt Hotels & Resorts where he served as Regional Vice President of Operations for Japan and Micronesia.
Maha Atieh has joined InterContinental, Doha Beach & Spa as the new Commercial Director. She previously held the role of Director of Sales & Marketing at Crowne Plaza, Muscat.
Four Seasons has announced the appointment of Mayurdeepsinh Rathod as Director of Revenue for Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai. He brings a wealth of experience from Indian luxury hotel brands including The Leela Places, The Oberoi and Hotel Sahara Star.
