Whitbread have announced the addition of Mark Allan to the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 October 2026. Mark is currently Chief Executive Officer of Land Securities Group and has been leading the business since April 2020.
Nils-Arne Schroeder has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer for Langham Hospitality Group, responsible for leading the operations for the global portfolio of more than 30 hotels and residences. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Operations, Europe & Africa for Raffles and Fairmont Hotels.
The Doyle Collection has announced the promotion of Katie Farrell to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. She has been with the group since 2014 and her new role follows over 11 years as Director of Sales & Marketing at the flagship property; The Westbury in Dublin.
Last week, Hand Picked Hotels announced two senior appointments to its leadership team. Eugenio Pirri has joined as Chief Culture Officer, while David Spooner will take up the role of Chief Commercial Officer on 7 September, as the business accelerates its next phase of growth.
Eduoardo Schutte has joined Hyatt Hotels as Senior Vice President, Commercial for the group’s Inclusive Collection. Eduardo brings over thirty years of experience across hospitality, travel technology and distribution, previously serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Cross Border Xpress.
John Sutherland has been named as the new General Manager for NoMad, London, returning to the property where he previously held a senior leadership role. John joins from Park Hyatt, London River Thames where he held the role of Director of Sales & Marketing.
Gleneagles has announced the appointment of Carlos Urrutigoity as the new Director of Wellness for the Perthshire property. Carlos joins from Grey Wolfe, a private members’ club focused on longevity and biotech-driven recovery, where he served as Managing Director.
Accor has announced the appointment of Urvi Mahajan as Director of Learning & Development for India & South Asia. She previously served as Executive Assistant Manager, Hotel for Trident Gurgaon.
Davidson Hospitality Group has announced the promotion of Steve Keck to the role of Vice President of People & Culture for Field Operations. Steve has been with the group since 2022 and has held the role of Senior Director of Human Resources since 2024.
Christina Vanugopal has been named as the new Director of Marketing & Communications at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi. She most recently served as Director of Marketing Communication at Le Meridien, Kuala Lumpur.
Rosewood has announced the promotion of Joey Dudding to the role of Cluster Leisure Sales Director for Rosewood, Le Guanahani St. Barth and Rosewood Little Dix Bay. Joey previously held the role of Director of Leisure Sales for the East Coast at Last Ventanas al Pariaso, a Rosewood Resort.
