Hand Picked Hotels has named two new General Managers; Carl Lynch has been appointed as General Manager for Rhinefield House Hotel in Brockenhurst in the New Forest. He has previously worked with Old Thorns Resort in Hampshire, The Vineyard in Stockcross and The Ritz in London. And Daniel Courtney has been appointed General Manager at Buxted Park Hotel, East Sussex. Daniel joins from The Bell in Ticehurst in East Sussex where he held the same role.
Millennium Hotels and Resorts has appointed Cinn Tan as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing more than thirty years of international experience to her new role leading the global commercial strategy for the group. She most recently served as Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
Hyatt Hotels has announced several key leadership appointments; Heidi Kunkel has taken the role of Senior Vice President of Commercial Services, joining from Club Med where she held the role of Vice President of Operations for Australasia. Monique Dekker has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President, HR, heading up the group’s commercial services division in EMEA, from her prior role as General Manager for the Park Hyatt, Vienna.
Julienne Smith has been appointed as the new Head of Americas Growth. She brings over 20 years of experience to the role, joining from IHG Hotels & Resorts where she served as Chief Development Officer for the Americas.
Federico Greppi has been promoted by Marriott International into the role of President for the Caribbean & Latin America, succeeding Brian King who is retiring after a 34-year career. Federico most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for the region.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has appointed Tim Klauda to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Customer Experience. Tim most recently held the role of Vice President of Global Products for McDonald’s.
Linnea Hansen has been named as the new President & Chief Operating Officer of Alterra Mountain Company’s Crystal Mountain. She previously held the role of Vice President, Marketing and Sales at the property.
Dusit International has announced the appointment of Marc Handl to the role of Managing Director for Dusit Thani, Bangkok, the group’s recently reopened flagship hotel. Marc will also oversee two upcoming luxury residential developments; Dusit Residences and Dusit Parkside. Marc most recently managed a portfolio of 15 properties for Abu Dhabi National Hotels.
Mitchell Turner has been appointed as the new General Manager for The Langham, Sydney . He brings more than 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality to the role, previously leading flagship hotels across the Accor and IHG brands in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Kuda Villingili Resort, Maldives has promoted Krisztina Vaszjunyina to the role of Resort Manager from her previous position as Director of Operations. She has been with the property since 2021, when she joined as Director of Rooms.
Jeannine Graham has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing for Hard Rock Hotel, New York . Jeannine most recently served in the same role for Grayson Hotel where she part of the opening team.
