Airbnb has appointed Andrea D’Amico as the new Vice President for Hotels for the group. Andrea has over 25 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, joining from Booking.com where he has spent the last 18 years. In his last role he was Managing Director for EMEA, overseeing 1,500 employees across 90 offices.
Oetker Hotels has announced the appointment of Fabrice Moizan as President & Managing Director of Le Bristol Paris, effective from 1 October and he will also join the group’s Executive Committee. Fabrice is currently General Manager for Eden Rock, St Barths.
Frank Roberts will be stepping down from his role as Vice President of Brand Experience across EDITION Hotels and W Hotels at Marriott International to start an independant consulting practice. He has worked across the brands for the last decade, most of that time at EDITION.
Canadian-based hotel group, Atlific Hotels has announced the appointment of Christopher Spear as Vice President, Commercial Strategy. Christopher brings a wealth of experience to the role having previously worked with leading brands including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International.
Suncadia Resort has announced the appointment of Houston Perkins as the new General Manager & Vice President of New Suncadia Hospitality LLC. He brings over 27 years of experience to the role, previously serving in senior roles for brands including Hyatt, Vail Resorts and East West Resorts.
Thi Tar Win has been named as Vice President, Finance for Amora Hotels and Resorts, leading the group’s financial strategy as it continues its expansion across Australia and Thailand.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has appointed Shane McWeeny as the new General Manager for the InterContinental, Boston. Shane most recently served as General Manager at Hotel Commonwealth.
Lindon Lovell has joined The Landings Resort and Spa, St Lucia as the new Managing Director. He previously held the role of General Manager at Winjammer Landing Resort & Residences.
