Marriott International have announced the promotion of Silvio Rosenberger to the role of Market Vice President for Maldives while continuing his current position as Vice President of Operations for Asia Pacific excluding China. The group currently operate 11 properties across 9 brands in the Maldives with more in the pipeline.
Genna Panagopoulos has been appointed as Vice President of Development for North America at Minor Hotels . She brings over 14 years of hospitality experience to the role, having previously played a crucial role at InterContinental Hotels Group advancing luxury and lifestyle brands across the Americas.
Raffles Hotels & Resorts have announced that Aaron Kaupp , currently Managing Director of Raffles, The Palm, Dubai, has been appointed as Regional Vice President & Managing Director for the additional properties of Raffles Al Areen Palace, Bahrain and Raffles, Seychelles while continuing to lead Raffles, The Palm, Dubai.
MGM Resorts International has promoted Kristin Byrnes to the role of Director of Talent Development. She has been with the group for five years, recently serving as Director of Organisation Effectiveness, Corporate.
Isabelle Salau has been promoted by Marriott International to lead sales and marketing across key Budapest hotels. She has been named as Director of Sales & Marketing for Budapest Marriott Hotel, Millennium Court, Marriott Executive Apartments, and Dorothea Hotel, Budapest, Autograph Collection. Isabelle most recently served as Multi-property Director of Sales for the Frankfurt Airport Marriott Hotel and Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Centre.
Coast Hotels , a fully owned subsidiary of APA Hotels Canada, one of Canada’s largest hotel brands, has announced several key leadership changes. Brigitte Diem-Guy has stepped down from her role as Vice President, Revenue Strategies & Communication, remaining with the group as Brand & Communications Consultant. Nooshi Akhavan has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial strategy from her previous role as Director, Revenue Performance & Distribution. And Glen Merx has been promoted to Vice President, People & Culture from his
previous position as Director, People & Culture.
Celeste Burgoyne has been named as the new Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer for Vail Resorts , effective January 2026. Celeste is currently President of the Americas & Global Guest Innovation for lululemon. She joined the group in 2006 and has held numerous leadership roles.
Mariana Frade de la Torre has been appointed as Director of Revenue Management for Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve , one of just nine Ritz-Carlton Reserves in the world. She brings more than 14 years of revenue strategy experience to the role, having worked across both airline and hospitality sectors previously.
