BWH Hotels has announced two key UK leadership appointments with Gary Wallace joining as Chief Financial Officer, and Akshada Kodag as National Sales Manager, Premium & Extended Stay.  Gary joins from Time to ACT, a public engineering and investment company for clean energy transition where he also served as CFO, and Akshada has hospitality experience spanning 20 years, previously working with brands including Kempinski, IHG and Accor.

Hyatt has announced the appointment of Guido Fredrich as Vice President of Development, Luxury & Lifestyle for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.  Guido holds over 15 years of international experience in hospitality and real estate development and has previously held a senior development role at Hyatt earlier in his career.

Boutique hotel group; Beaumier who operate hotels across France, Spain and Switzerland has announced the promotion of Anna Fedou to Chief Commercial Officer from her previous role of Head of Brand & Marketing which she has held since 2024.

Minor Hotels has named Luis Coelho as Cluster Director of Sales for Tivoli Hotels in the Algarve region.  He returns to the group after previously holding roles including Global Sales Manager, MI, Portugal and Director of Sales for Southern Europe between 2016 and 2024.  

Jaimie Weiss has been announced as the new Vice President of Growth & Digital at Viceroy Hotels & Residences where she will be responsible for leading the company’s digital growth strategy.  Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior Director of Growth & Performance Marketing at Proper Hospitality.

Murray Scott has been named as the new General Manager for The Standard, London.  He joins from his previous role as Cluster General Manager for The Hoxton, Holborn and The Hoxton, Shoreditch.

The Botany in St. Thomas has announced the appointments of Cory Santana as General Manager and Melissa Pope as Director of Sales & Marketing, ahead of the resort’s opening this winter.  Cory most recently served as General Manager of Secret Harbour Resort and Melissa joins the property from Marriott, spending the last ten years growing the YETI brand.

Marriott International has announced two senior leadership appointments for The Pyrmont Curacao, Autograph Collection All-Inclusive in advance of its scheduled opening in November this year.  Rob de Bekker has taken the role of General Manager and Anjali Bakmeijer as Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing.  Rob joins from Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa in Bermuda and Anjali has spent the last six years as Director of Sales & Marketing for Curacao Marriott Beach Resort.

Jon Gersonde has been named as Managing Director of Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort.  He most recently served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua.

Narendran Maniam has joined InterContinental, Bali as Director of Food & Beverage.  He holds over 20 years of international experience, including senior roles in Malaysia, Japan and the Maldives.

Victoria Fuh has taken the role of Head of Commercial for Colombo Hotels at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts.  She most recently served as Vice President of the Executive Board at Macau Meetings, Incentives and Special Events Association.

Fairmont, The Palm has appointed Merima Allen as Director of Marketing & Communications.  Merima joins from Ennismore where she served as Director of Brand Marketing & PR supporting 25hours Hotel, Dubai One Central.  

Moxy Hotels, owned by Lightstone, has announced the promotion of Amy Birnbaum to Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Moxy Hotels in NY and Miami, overseeing six properties.  She has previously led launches of Moxy, Williamsburg and The William Vale.
