Andre Devillers has been appointed as the new General Manager for Jumeirah, Carlton Tower, Dubai Holding’s flagship hotel in London’s Knightsbridge. Andre previously held the position of Director of Operations, Luxury Hotels for Southern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States for IHG.
Mandarin Oriental has made two key appointments to strengthen its Residences and Exceptional Homes Team with Brad Berry joining as Head of Residences & Homes. Brad most recently served as Vice President, Global Residential Development for Rosewood Hotel Group. Philip Leighton takes the role of Head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes. He most recently launched and led Villas by Bailey Robinson.
Highland-based hospitality group Turas Hotels, formerly known as the J and R Group, has announced several key leadership appointments with Jennifer Macdonald-Nethercott taking the role of Head of Marketing, and Johan Van Heerden has been named as Revenue and Operations Manager.
Patrick Mitchell has joined The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection as Senior Vice President, Global Sales. Patrick has spent the last four years serving as Vice President, Global Brand & eCommerce for hospitality brand Sonder Inc, now part of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.
US-based operator of luxury lifestyle hotels Aparium Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Paul Devitt as President and Chief Operating Officer. Paul joins the group following a 32-year tenure with Hyatt where he most recently held the role of Senior Vice President of Operations for the Americas.
Hospitality Ventures Management Group has named Jessica Myers as Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Prior to joining HVMG, Jessica served as Vice President, Finance for Pyramid Global Hospitality.
Shreya Sharma has been named as the new Multi-Property Director for Marriott South India Cluster, responsible for three of its key hotels in the region; the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre, Marriott Executive Apartments UB City, and The Artiste Kochi – A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. She previously served as Cluster Director of Marketing for Hilton.
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has announced the promotion of Raed Kai to Director of Operations. Raed joined the property in 2010 as Revenue Manager and has since held the roles of Director of Revenue Management, Director of Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing.
Sheila King has joined Ballyfin Demesne as the new Director of Sales & Marketing from her most recent position holding the same role at Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
W, Sydney has appointing Paul Andarakis as Director of Sales & Marketing. He brings over two decades of experience and joins from Sofitel, Sydney Darling Harbour.
Shreenath Shastry has joined Fariyas Hotels Private Limited as Chief Executive Officer. The group currently operate three properties in India and before joining the group, Shreenath served in various leadership roles with Wipro Limited over an 11-year period.
The Westin, Maldives has appointed Nithil Baskar as the new Resort Manager. Nithil has over 15 years of hospitality experience, most recently serving as Director of Operations at JW Marriott, Mumbai Sahar.
