Accor and InterGlobe have announced the appointment of Guarav Bhushan as Chairman of their newly formed joint hospitality venture in India. Guarav has over 25 years of experience in hospitality and has held the roles of Co—CEO of Ennismore and CEO of Lifestyle and Leisure Brands at Accor since 2020.
Anna Darnell has been promoted to General Manager for the Grove in Hertfordshire. Anna was formerly Resort Director and now takes additional responsibility for strategy, operations and revenue management across the 300-acre estate.
The Red Carnation Hotel Collection has announced two new appointments for Ashford Castle, Ireland’s first and only Forbes Five-Star Hotel and Spa. Gregory Brossard joins the team as Hotel Manager. He has spent the previous two years as Director of Operations for the Conrad Hotel, Dublin. He takes over from Lisa Toomey who is moving into the position of Director of Quality for the estate.
Laura Villabolos has joined Etereo, an Auberge Resorts Collection luxury resort in Riviera Maya as the new General Manager. Laura brings extensive hospitality experience to the role, including recent leadership as Commercial Director at Four Seasons Hotel, Mexico City.
Minor Hotels has announced the promotion of Jean-Marc Pougnet to General Manager for Anantara, Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort. For the past two years Jean-Marc has served as Resort Manager at Avani+ Khao Lak Resort.
Emmanuel Uddin has been appointed by Accor to the position of General Manager of ibis, Dubai Al Rigga. Previously, he served as Director of Revenue Management at Novotel and Adagio, Abu Dhabi Al Bustan.
Torsten Richter has been promoted by Minor Hotels to the role of General Manager for Anantara, Siam Bangkok from his previous position as Area General Manager for Malaysia & Indonesia.
Gowdhaman Perumal has joined Rosewood as the new Director of Food & Beverage for Rosewood Baha Mar. Gowdhaman joined the group in 2019 at Rosewood, Little Dix Bay and most recently held the role of Director of F&B for the property.
Wharf Hotels have announced the promotion of Vireo Yeung to the role of Group Director, Global Sales from his previous role as Regional Director, Sales for Hong Kong and Taiwan.
