Virgin Hotels Collection has announced that Chief Executive Officer, James Bermingham , has stepped down after nearly five years in the role. James became CEO of Virgin Hotels in 2021 and during his tenure launched the new parent brand; Virgin Hotels Collection which he has been CEO of since 2023. Former Chief Commercial Officer, Joe Margison has assumed the role of Interim CEO.
Clermont Hotel Group has appointed Andy Goss as the new Group Head of Food & Beverage. Andy brings over 25 years of experience to the role, most recently with HMSHost International, where he was responsible for more than 20 food and beverage concepts across key UK travel hubs.
Accor has announced two key appointments with Graham Dodd taking the role of the new Vice President of Development for UK & Ireland, leading the development of the group’s premium, midscale and economy segment across the region. He joins from Hilton where he held the role of Managing Director, Development, UK & Ireland. Ben Creek has been promoted to Vice President, Food & Beverage for Asia & Pacific Regions from his previous position as Director of Food & Beverage Development.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has appointed Alexandra Jung to its Board of Directors where she will serve as a member of the Corporate Governance and Audit Committees. Alexandra has over 25 years of experience in investment management, currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Parter of Amateras Capital and Head of Private Debt Funds and Partner at AEA Investors.
Ernesto Fara has been named as the new President & Chief Executive Officer of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection with immediate effect. Ernesto has been serving as CFO since 2020 and was promoted to President in 2023. He succeeds Jim Murren who takes on an active role with the group as Executive Chairman.
Alan Chin has been appointed by Kempinski Hotels as Managing Director for Greater China & Mongolia, and General Manager of KEY International Hotels Management Co. Alan brings more than twenty years of experience to the role, previously holding senior roles with Accor and the China Hospitality Fund.
Davidson Hospitality Group has announced two key appointments with Matthew Bright joining as Senior Vice President, Head of Information Technology. Matthew previously held the role of Vice President of IT Operations with Aimbridge Hospitality. Randy Diamond has been appointed as Regional Vice President, Pivot and he most recently served as Vice President of Operations with Highgate Hotels.
Perrine Chapelain has joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director, Group Sales, Europe. She has spent the past 12 years in progressively senior sales roles with Belmond, leading high-performing group sales teams across Northern Europe.
Millennium Hotels and Resorts has named Rachael Findlay as Director of Sales, Corporate, Conference & Incentives, New Zealand. Rachael has previously held senior roles with Accor, Mantra and Naumi, and most recently supported the launch of new hotel-hostels brand Drifter.
Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai has announced the appointment of Denis Glibic as the new Director of Sales & Marketing. Most recently, Denis served in the same role for Hyatt Regency, Nairobi Westlands.
Aziz Sharipov has been promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing for the Al Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection by Marriott . He joined the property in 2021 as Director of Sales.
