Mumbai-based Eco Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Shiv Bose as Chief Executive Officer. Shiv brings a wealth of luxury hotel leadership, having held previous roles with brands including Starwood, Hilton and Marriott.
Philipp Morawietz has joined Berlin-based Numa Group as Director of Corporate Development. Philipp most recently served as Managing Director at Homelike, a serviced apartment rental platform.
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has announced the promotion of Philipp Economou to Regional General Manager for Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. He joined the group in 1995 and was previously General Manager for Bahrain and Oman.
Peachtree has named Michael Brunner as the new Executive Vice President of Credit Investments. Michael has over 25 years of experience with financial institutions including Atlas SP Partners, Credit Suisse and JP Morgan.
Declan Lott has been promoted by Edwardian Hotels London to the position of Vice President of Sales, North America. Declan has been with the group for 30 years and has played a key role in the growth of their North America position.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has appointed Anastasia Kotanidis as Director, Travel Partnerships, Australia & New Zealand. She joins from Seabourn where she held the role of Key Account Manager.
Gerhard Struger takes the role of Regional Vice President & Managing Director for Fairmont, Golden Prague. He has extensive experience in luxury hospitality including overseeing flagship properties, openings, re-brandings and integrations.
Fairmont has announced the promotion of Nikolaos Kaloudis to Hotel Manager at Fairmont, Amman from his previous position as Director of Operations at the property.
Moritz Frings has been named as the new General Manager for Andaz, Dubai The Palm. He joins from Grand Hyatt where he held the role of Executive Assistant Manager, Sales & Marketing.
Abigail Brown has joined Sofitel, Dubai Downtown as Director of Talent & Culture. Abigail most recently held the role of People & Culture Manager for Mandarin Oriental supporting the rebranding of Emirates Palace in Dubai.
Sun Siyam, Olhuveli Maldives has announced the promotion of Ahmed Shazeen to Director of Human Resources from his previous role as Human Resources Manager at the resort.
Aynur Mamedova joins Rosewood, Abu Dhabi as Director of Communications. Before taking this role, she served as Director of Marketing at Waldorf Astoria, Kuwait.
InterContinental Hotels Group has named Khattab Mohamed as Cluster Director of Sales, and Sharmil Samsuuden as Cluster Director of Revenue, at InterContinental, Abu Dhabi and InterContinental Residences, Abu Dhabi.
Lucas Gimenez Polcheira has taken the role of Director of Sales & Marketing for Capella, Sydney. He joins from Accor where he served as the Commercial Director for Sofitel, Sydney Wentworth.
Ignacio de las Cuevas has joined Dubai-based RLA Global as Partner. Ignacio has over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality and previously worked at Andart Global.
