Mark Lockwood has joined Raffles Hotels & Resorts as Chief Operating Officer. Mark spent nearly eight years at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, joining early in the company’s formation in 2017 as Vice President, Cruise Hotel Operations and most recently served as Chief Product Officer.
Virgin Hotels Collection has announced two key appointments with Chris Stevens taking the role of Chief Operating Officer, joining from Ashford Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President. And Rayhan Arif has been named as Chief Commercial and Financial Officer. Rayhan has been with the group since 2017.
Auberge Resorts Collection has named Etienne Haro as the Managing Director of Cambridge House, the group’s first London property due to open in Mayfair early next year. Etienne joins from The Mark Hotel in New York city where he served as General Manager.
David Garcia Blancas has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer for Spain & Portugal at B&B Hotels , from his previous role as General Manager for PortAventura. The group are strengthening their position in the Iberian market, adding 15 new hotels in 2024 bringing the total number in Spain to 57.
Lemon Tree Hotels has announced two senior leadership appointments; Vishvapreet Singh Cheema has taken the role of President. He has over 30 years of experience in hospitality, most recently leading operations in South West Asia at IHG. Niket Sood has been appointed Vice President of Commercial. Niket has previously worked with global brands including Accor and Marriott International.
Hilton has announced that Christian Charnaux will return to the group as Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer. Christian joins from Inspire Brands where he has held the role of Chief Growth Officer since its founding in 2018 but had a previous tenure with Hilton serving in several brand management, commercial and finance roles.
Paul Blackmore has been appointed Vice President, Development, UK & Ireland at Hilton , supporting the group’s growth in the region. Paul joined Hilton almost eight years ago and most recently served as Vice President, AD&C, Europe, Turkey & North Africa.
Aimbridge Hospitality has announced two key appointments; Michelle McArdle has been appointed as Commercial Director. She joins from Marriott International where she served as Director of Market Strategy. Edward Holland has been named as the new Director of Operations & Quality. Edward most recently served as Senior General Manager at Holiday Inn, Coventry as well as in operational support management for Valor Hospitality.
Louis Riley has been appointed as Regional Vice President, Sales for MCR Hotels , the third largest hotel owner-operator in the US. He has previously worked with brands including Wyndham, IHG, Hilton and Marriott.
Mandarin Oriental has announced the promotion of Edouard Lapasset to the role of General Manager for the Mandarin Oriental, Paris. Edouard has served as Hotel Manager at the property since 2022.
Emmanuele Selvaggi has joined Rosewood, London as the new Hotel Manager. Emmanuele brings over 18 years of experience to the role, having previously held key roles at Four Seasons properties in Boston, Geneva, Doha, Prague, Florence and London.
Pinar Kirlar Kaya has been appointed as Director of Marketing & Communications for Park Hyatt, Doha . She most recently held the role of Director of Marketing & Communications for Hilton, Doha The Pearl.
Alma Resort, Cam Ranh has welcomed Yen Dang as the new Director of Sales & Marketing. She joins from nearby Movenpick Resort, Cam Ranh where she held the same role.
Ashish Menon has taken the role of Director of Sales & Marketing for St Regis, Toronto . His previous role was as Director of Sales at The Hazelton Hotel where he served for nearly three years.
Four Seasons has announced the appointment of Denise Ector Carter as Director of People & Culture at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, New Orleans. Denis most recently served as Director of People Operations at Virgin Hotels, New Orleans.
Aditya Raj Nair has joined Fairmont and Raffles, Jaipur as Cluster Director of Talent & Culture. He has over 15 years of experience in HR having worked across India’s leading hotel brands including Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance, Marriott and Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
Sasindu Don has been promoted to Director of Finance for the Sofitel, Dubai Downtown from his previous role as Financial Controller.
