Elsa Remoy-Hodt has been appointed as the new global Managing Director for The Twenty Two  . She started with the group as the pre-opening front of house manager in 2020. Elsa previously worked at the Chiltern Firehouse, The Ned and the Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

Belmond has promoted Elle Hodson  from Global Head of Media & Brand Content to Vice President of Marketing. Elle will lead the company’s end-to-end marketing strategy across B2B and B2C channels.

Global luxury lifestyle and hospitality company Nikki Beach Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Julie Desvaux  as Global Marketing Director for Hotels & Resorts as it accelerates the global growth of its hotel, resort, and branded residences portfolio. She has held senior positions at Airelles, Groupe Barrière, and most recently Compagnie Lebon.

Accor has appointed Aankush Sharrma  as Director of Development, India & South Asia. Prior to joining Accor, Aankush spent nearly nine years at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, where he most recently served as Director Development, Brand Expansion and Pre-Opening.

Hyatt’s board has appointed CEO Mark Hoplamazian  to succeed Tom Pritzker as Chair starting immediately following his announcement to retire on Monday. This comes after released files showing Pritzker and Jeffrey Epstein exchanged friendly emails after the disgraced financier’s 2008 plea deal.

Marriott Vacations Worldwide announced that its Board has appointed Matthew Avril as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Avril joined the Company’s Board in March 2025 and has served as interim President and CEO since November 2025. The Company also announced the appointment of Michael Flaskey  as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.

Kamal Munasinghe has been appointed as General Manager for Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams  , effective 15 February 2026. Alongside his new post, Munasinghe will continue to serve as Senior Vice President, Colombo Hotels at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts.

Hand Picked Hotels appoints Will Jackson as General Manager for L’Horizon Hotel & Spa in Jersey, José Simoes as Hotel Manager at Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney, and Jaime Short  as Director of Sales, Channel Islands.

Kate Leff has been appointed as Cluster Director of Marketing for Sheraton  Grand Sydney Hyde Park and Four Points Sheraton Sydney Central Park. Her career includes leadership roles at Kamalaya, The Barai, and Revivo Wellness Resorts.

Khamas Hospitality has appointed Gurbani Chanana  as Cluster Director of Marketing and PR as it continues to expand its portfolio of hotels across the UAE.

Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas Paradise Valley has appointed Colm O’Brien  as Managing Director following the resort’s $42m renovation. O’Brien brings deep operational and financial expertise across resort and multi-property portfolios.
