Victor Clavell has joined Aman Group as Chief Operating Officer. He will be based at the group’s corporate headquarters in Switzerland and will be responsible for overseeing global operations. He brings over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality; previously working with brands including Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels and EDITION.
Marriott International has announced the appointment of Beth Kinerk to the role of Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Beth joins from Avis Budget Group where she has spent the last 13 years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
Sascha Triemer has been promoted to Vice President of Food & Beverage for Atlantis, The Palm. Sascha joined Dubai, Atlantis in 2008 as a member of the hotel’s pre-opening team and has held a number of senior positions, most recently as General Manager & Vice President of Marine & Waterpark.
Farah Jaber has joined Palladium Hotel Group as Managing Director for Southeast Asia. The Spanish group has established a new hub in Vietnam from which to lead its expansion into the region. Farah has been with Minor Hotels for the past 13 years, most recently serving as Area General Manager for Malaysia.
Hilton has appointed Pavithra Jayakumar as Senior Director, HR Consulting for Global Brands & Commercial Services, APAC. She has been with Procter & Gamble since 2010 holding a variety of roles; her most recent as HR Director for the Singapore and Kobe innovation centres.
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the appointment of Mark Wernich to the role of Vice President, Africa for Taj Hotels. Mark has been with the IHCL group since 2018 and is currently based in Cape Town where he is responsible for the operations and development across Africa.
Harry Thaliwal has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Asia at EVT Hotels & Resorts. Most recently serving as CEO for Cross Hotels & Resorts, Harry takes the newly created role at EVT to support growth across the APAC region.
Patrick Lan has joined Marriott International as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mauritius. Patrick has spent the past ten years with Radisson Hotel Group, leading commercial performance across multiple resorts, and in his new role will be overseeing the marketing strategy for the Marriott branded Mauritius properties.
Radisson Hotels & Resorts has named Sheila Moothoocurpen as Cluster Commercial Director, Mauritius. She joins from the InterContinental, Mauritius Resort where she has held the role of Director of Sales & Marketing since 2023.
25hours Hotels has announced the appointment of Peter Roach as the new Commercial Director for 25hours Hotel, The Olympia in Sydney. He moves from Hyatt where he held the role of Director of Sales & Marketing for Caption by Hyatt, Central Sydney.
