Aimbridge Hospitality has announced a newly expanded Board with Glenn Alba, Rich Gomel, Carrie McIntrye and Emanuel Pearlman all joining the Board to work alongside current Board Members Steve Joyce and Craig Smith.
OYO has announced the appointment of Sonal Sinha as Chief Executive Officer for G6 Hospitality, the motel firm recently acquired from Blackstone Real Estate, adding 1,500 franchised hotels across the US and Canada to the group’s portfolio. Sonal has been with OYO since 2015 and was previously Chief Financial Officer, International Business.
Chad Goonough has joined Stonebridge Companies as Senior Vice President, Sales Strategy & Innovation. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for HRI hospitality.
Accor has announced the appointment of Islam Samad as Vice President Development, Middle East. Islam has over 23 years experience in the region and has successfully led some of the most high-profile relationships in the Middle East.
Wendy Hoekwater has taken the role of Acting Chief Marketing Officer for Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group. Wendy has assumed the role in addition to her position as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Net Growth Marketing LLC.
One&Only, Aesthesis has named Gerald Krischek as the new General Director for the ultra-luxury resort on the Athenian Riviera. Gerald has previously held leadership positions for properties including Prince de Galles in Paris and Hotel Bristol in Vienna.
Nawaf Hasan has been promoted by Accor to the role of Cluster General Manager for Grand Mercure, Dubai City and ibis Styles, Dubai Airport from his previous position as Cluster Director of Operations and Acting General Manager.
Nicholas Durham has joined Hyatt Regency, London Blackfriars as Director of Food & Beverage. Nicholas was previously in the same role for Sheraton, Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh.
Sarah Russell joins The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto as Director of Food & Beverage. She joins from the Sheraton Centre where she held the role of Director of Venues, Restaurants & Bars.
French hospitality group 2L Collection has announced the appointment of Adrien Kobeh as Director of Sales. Adrien joins from Pullman Paris Hotels, where he held the role of Senior Director of Sales.
Starwood Hotels has appointed Isabella Gunnarsson as Commercial Director and Asbjørn Rytter as Director of Sales for the 1 Hotel, Copenhagen, set to open in the summer.
The Oberoi Group has appointed Keshav Dubal as Head of IT Infrastructure & Networks. He most recently served as Head of Information Technology at Dabur India Ltd.
