Pioneering ultra-luxury hospitality brand, Kisawa Sanctuary has appointed Ayman Gharib as Chief Executive Officer. Ayman joins from his most recent role as Vice President of Operations for Raffles & Fairmont, Middle East.

7H Hospitality Management, owner of a portfolio of hotels across England, Scotland and Wales, have announced the appointment of Martin MacPhail as the new Managing Director. Martin joins from RBH where he held a variety of roles including Talent & Resourcing Manager and Human Resources Director.

Shane Green has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Foley Entertainment Group which hold a number of luxury properties across the US. Shane has previously held roles with The Ritz-Carlton, MGM Resorts and United Airlines.

Marriott International has announced several key appointments; Andy Kauffman takes the role of Chief Commercial Officer, US & Canada. He joins from the National Football League where he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Science, but has previously worked with Marriott earlier in his career.

Gail Frazer has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Sales & Distribution for the US & Canada. She was previously Managing Vice President of Sales & Distribution for the US Eastern Region for Premium and Luxury Hotels.

Shannon Patterson is named Senior Vice President of Global Sales. She has been with the group for nearly 30 years holding a variety of positions.

Suzanne Holbrook has been promoted to the role of Global Leader of Spa, Fitness and Wellness Operations from her previous position as Corporate Director of Spa Operations for Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton.

Sylvain Lagier, formerly of Atlas Hotels, has joined Brightstar Hospitality as the new Group Operations Director, set to oversee operations across the group’s expanding hotel portfolio of both independent and branded hotels across the UK.

The Budock Vean Hotel in Cornwall, recently acquired by the Philema Hospitality Group, has appointed Darryl Reburn as the new General Manager. Darryl was previously Managing Director at The Headland Hotel before moving to a role with Harbour Hotels.

Kempinski has named Ghazi Louhichi as the new Hotel Manager for Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates. Prior to taking this role, Ghazi has held positions with Hilton, London Metropole, The St Regis, Doha and Marsa Malaz Kempinski, Doha.

Prince A. Sanders has been appointed General Manager of The Wall Street Hotel. His career includes roles with The Ritz-Carlton, New York, Park Lane, New York and Trump International Hotel & Tower, New York.

Rajiv Savs has taken the role of Area Director of Operations for The Clarks Hotels & Resorts. Rajiv has previously served in a number of General Manager positions for brands including Radisson, Amritara and ITC Hotels.

Anantara has announced the appointment of Wesam El Sayed as the new Cluster Director of Revenue for Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara and Anantara, Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort. He joins from Rotana where he held the role of Cluster Director of Revenue in Iraq.

Marriott has announced the promotion of Carolina Voullieme to Multi Property Director of Sales & Marketing for the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino and the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort.

Tania Thomas has been appointed Associate Director of Marketing Communications for the Westin, Goa. She has over 14 years experience in luxury hospitality, holding roles for Sheraton, Hyatt and Marriott.
