Auberge Resorts Collection has announced the appointment of Kaila Pugliese Tobin as Vice President, Commercial Performance, supporting commercial strategy and performance across the portfolio. She most recently served as Director of Commercial, East at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Michael Rosen has joined GF Hotels & Resorts as Senior Vice President of Operations. He brings 30 years of experience in hospitality to the role having previously worked with brands including Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at Stonebridge.
Prachi Patil has been appointed as Director, Design & Technical Services across India & South Asia for Accor. She brings more than 18 years of experience across hospitality design, real estate development and project management, joining from Chalet Hotels where she held the role of AGM, Design.
Australia’s iconic Hamilton Island has announced two key appointments with Chris Mills taking the role of Chief Executive Officer. He most recently served as CEO of Sunshine Coast Airport. Renae Trimble has been named as Chief Operating Officer; her previous roles include CCO at the NRL and a 17-year tenure with Accor, serving as CEO of Accor Plus Asia Pacific.
Rixos Hotels has appointed Sherif Kasseb as Managing Director of Rixos Premium, Qetaifan Island North. He has been with the group since 2020, holding a number of leadership positions, most recently as General Manager for Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah.
Elizabeth Morris has joined independent Manchester hotel The Alan as Sales Manager. Before joining the hotel, she spent ten years at Sykes Cottages and two years as Head of Events at Hotal. The property has recently undergone refurbishment and become partner to Manchester Art Gallery.
Ramon von Schuckmann returns to Pine Cliffs Resort, part of the United Hospitality Group, as General Manager, having previously served as Complex Director of Sales & Marketing between 2006-2010. He joins from The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife Abama.
Ivan Gutierrez has taken the role of Cluster Director of Food & Beverage for Hyatt properties; Hyatt Regency, Bali and Andaz, Bali. He joins from Grand Hyatt, Erawan Bangkok where he held the position of Director of Food & Beverage.
Indian Hotels Company Limited has announced the promotion of Ahmed Shujau to Director of Food & Beverage at Taj, Coral Reef in the Maldives, from his previous position as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the property.
Marriott International has announced the promotion of Patcharin Konklong to the role of Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing across Phuket and Khao Lak. She most recently served as Director of Sales at JW Marriott, Phuket Resort & Spa.
The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA has named Lucille Georget as Director of Marketing. She has previous experience with the group and joins the pre-opening team of the resort, part of Phase One of the destination and due to open in the coming months.
Lotachukwu Monyei has joined Marriott Hotel, Al Forsan as Director of PR & Marketing. She most recently served as Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications for Le Meridien Dubai Hotel Complex.
Marriott International has announced the appointment of Diana Lee as Director of Sales & Marketing for Singapore, Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. In her prior role, she served as Director of Sales & Marketing for PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore.
