IHG Hotels & Resorts has appointed Neetu Mistry as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland. Neetu brings over 20 years of experience to the role where she will be overseeing more than 400 hotels either open or in the pipeline, across 11 brands. Neetu previously served as Chief Commercial Officer for Cycas Hospitality.
Accor has announced the appointment of Laurent Choain to the role of Global Chief People & Culture Officer. Laurent has over 30 years of international HR experience and joins from Forvis Mazars where he held the role of Chief, Culture & Partnership.
Gus Fuldner has joined Airbnb as its new Global Head of Operations, replacing Tara Bunch who is retiring after six years with the company. Gus has spent the last 12 years with Uber, most recently holding the role of Senior Vice President for Safety & Core Services.
Michael Hoe Knudsen has been promoted to the role of Managing Director for Mexico, Latin America & the Caribbean at IHG Hotels & Resorts . Michael has been with the group since 1996 and most recently he has been based in the Greater China region, overseeing 120 managed hotels and 45 openings.
Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Alexis Boudrand as Director of Development for France, the Netherlands and several francophone European markets. Alexis most recently held the role of Development Director for France & Southern Europe for Pierre & Vacances.
Current Chief Executive Officer for Alterra Mountain Company , Jared Smith , has announced he will be stepping down from his role at the end of this ski season after four years.
Michele Grosso has been promoted to the role of Regional Vice President, Operations for the US at Langham Hospitality Group . He joined the group in 2019 as Managing Director of The Langham, Boston and he will continue to serve in this role along with his additional regional responsibilities.
Choice Hotels has announced the promotion of Jeff Lobb to the role of Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary. Jeff has been with the group since 2006 and most recently held the role of Deputy General Counsel.
Adam Beer has been announced as the new General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Boston . Adam joins from Twin Bridges Hospitality, an asset management company co-founded by members of the Marriott family, where he served as Vice President, Asset Management.
Shubham S. Basrur has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage for The St. Regis, Goa . Shubhum brings over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality to the role, having held leadership roles with Park Hyatt, Chennai, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa and The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts.
Banyan Group has announced the appointment of Josefine Norrman as Director of Sales & Marketing for Banyan Tree, Vabbinfaru and Dhawa Ihuru. Previously, Josefine held the role of Cluster Director of Sales at COMO Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives.
