Arash Azarbarzin has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer for Viceroy Hotels and Resorts . He brings over 40 years of experience in luxury and lifestyle hospitality to the role and the appointment comes following the acquisition by Highgate in 2022, with Arash at the helm having been named CEO of Highgate the prior year.
Hyatt has announced the appointment of Mr & Ms Smith Co-Founder Tamara Lohan as Global Brand Leader, Luxury on an interim basis. Tamara joined Hyatt in 2023 following the acquisition of Mr & Mrs Smith and in her new role will help guide the group’s global luxury brand strategy.
Valor Hospitality has announced several key leadership appointments for The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel set to open in 2026 in partnership between Manchester City Football Club and Radisson Hotel Group. Richard Pearson has taken the role of General Manager; Samantha Byrne joins as Director of Sales & Marketing; Emma Wilson as Revenue Manager; and Rebecca Mannix takes the role of People & Culture Manager.
Remington Hospitality announces the appointment of Travis Burns as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Travis has over 20 years of hospitality experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Business Development for Aimbridge Hospitality.
Giusy Guarracino has been promoted to the role of Managing Director for Hotel La Palma, part of the Oetker Hotels group. She joined the property in 2022 serving as Executive Head of Sales, Reservations & Revenue.
Hyatt has announced the appointment of Vanessa Williams as Managing Director for The Manner, a Soho luxury hotel that became part of the group’s lifestyle division following its acquisition of Standard International. Vanessa has previously held leadership roles at brands including Waldorf Astoria, Mandarin Oriental and, most recently, The Vinoy Resort in St Petersburg, Florida.
Club Med has announced two key leadership appointments in North America with Michelle Catin appointed as Vice President of Marketing for the region. She joins from Palace Resorts where she held the role of Senior Director of Marketing. Frank Corzo has been appointed as Vice President of Sales Strategy, previously holding the position of Vice President of Sales for North America at Karisma Hotels & Resorts.
Antoine Capelli has been announced as the new Director of Food & Beverage for Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore . Prior to joining the property, Antoine led the Food & Beverage division at Mama Shelter.
Rajat Bhatia has joined Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai as Commercial Director, he brings more than 25 years of experience across sales, marketing, revenue management and commercial strategy to the role, having previously held key roles across Indian and global hospitality brands.
White Lodging has announced the promotion of David Cirincione to the role of Regional Director of Operations from his previous position as Market General Manager for the Teaneck market. In his new role he will maintain oversight of the Teaneck, New Jersey market while also taking on responsibility for a small portfolio of hotels.
