Maybourne , operator of London’s most prestigious hotels also including The Connaught, The Berkely and The Emory, has announced the appointment of Jochem Meijerink to the role of Hotel Manager for Claridge’s, London. Jochem has spent the last 11 years with Corinthia, London, joining as Front Office Manager in 2015, and progressing to his most recent role as Hotel Manager.
Lily Wecker has taken the role of Chief Executive Officer for Aethos Hotels . In her previous position lily was the Direct of Development for Europe, Middle East, Africa and North America at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and prior to that she was VP of Investments at Zetland Capital Partners.
Mandarin Oriental has appointed Julien Bardet as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Lutetia, Paris. Julian has previously worked with St Regis, Bali, St Regis, New York and St Regis, Bal Harbour Resort.
Hilton has announced several key leadership appointments for the pre-opening team of the Waldorf Astoria, London Admiralty Arch, set to open in 2026. Carly Gill has been named as the new HR Director. Carly previously held the role as Cluster HR Manager for several Hilton properties in London. Mathilde Brallet has taken the role of Commercial Director, having previously held the same role for Conrad, London St James. And Kane Savage has been appointed as Director of Sales, returning to
Hilton having previously worked with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in the UK.
Kempinski Hotels has appointed Frank Veenstra as its new Chief Development Officer. Frank brings a breadth of experience to the role having previously worked with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, NH and Corinthia Hotels. His appointment to the executive team signals the continued growth ambitions of the group.
Davidson Hospitality Group has announced the promotion of Steve Contos to the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Luxury & International. Steve was most recently holding the role of Executive Vice President of Operations for Davidson Hotels & Davidson Resorts.
Stéphanie Segaux has joined Starwood Hotels as Vice President of Development for the EMEA region. Stéphanie began her career with Starwood before spending nearly ten years with Rosewood Hotel Group, most recently serving as Director of Development EAME.
Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has welcomed four new Sales Directors: Bonnie Newman as Regional Director, Trade Sales, West US & Western Canada; Kathy Lu as Regional Director, Trade Sales, Southwest, Midwest and Eastern Canada; Jessica Painter as Director, Charter & Incentive, Global Sales; And Melissa Ong as Director, Travel Partnerships, Asia.
Björn Wild has been announced as the new General Manager of Finca Banyols, Vignette Collection, part of the Marriott group, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year in Mallorca, Spain. He has also been holding the role of Chief Operating Officer for Barcelona-based White Brand Hotels since June 2020.
Tadas Ėvaltas has joined Apex Alliance Hotel Management as General Manager for Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection. Tadas joins from Hilton, Garden Inn Vilnius City Centre in Lithuania where he has held the role of General Manager for the past seven years.
Fairmont, Bab Al Bahr has hired Erica Costa as Director of Food & Beverage. Erica brings a wealth of global hospitality experience to the role having previously worked with brands including Anantara, Jumeirah and Marriott across Asia and the Middle East.
Tom Walsh has been promoted to the role of Director of Sales for Marriott property, St Ermin’s Hotel in London’s Westminster, following the retirement of long-standing Director, Stuart Leckie.
Wynn Resorts has announced the appointment of Rebecca Hall as Executive Director of Public Relations at Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s premier casino resort set to open in early 2027. Rebecca joins from Atlantis Resorts in Dubai, most recently serving as Director of Public Relations & Communications.
Nardine Emil has been appointed as the new Director of Sales for Swissotel, Al Ghurair in Dubai. She brings 20 years of international experience to the role, previously serving as Cluster Director of Sales for the pre-opening teams at Marriott, Marquis Dubai and Hilton, Dubai Creek Hotel & Residences.
Nika Kim has been promoted by InterContinental Hotels to the role of Director of Commercial for InterContinental, Maldives Maamunagau Resort from her previous role as Director of Sales with the property which she has held since 2024.
