Mario Von Hoesslin has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer for Steigenberger Hotels GmbH. Most recently, Mario served as COO Central Europe at Essendi and brings many years of international experience in the hotel and tourism industry.
Starwood Hotels promotes Shadi Omeish to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations, Americas from his previous position as Vice President of Operations, Americas. The Miami-based group rebranded from SH Hotels & Resorts last year and operates 1 Hotels, Baccarat Hotels and Treehouse Hotels.
Noelia Magnusson is named as the Chief Commercial Officer at Ultima Collection to lead global commercial strategy, focused on revenue optimisation and distribution. She joins Ultima Collection from Aman Hotels & Resorts, where she served as Global Director of Revenue Management.
ORA Hospitality , the luxury travel arm of ORA Developers, has hired Vincenzo Falcone as Chief Executive Officer. He joins from Bulgari Hotels where he led Bulgari Hotel Milano and then Bulgari Hotel Roma as General Manager. Previously, Falcone held leadership positions in luxury properties across Europe’s major cities, including 4 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and over 10 years at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.
Two of Accor’s leading luxury brands Raffles and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts , announce the appointment of Olivier Eynard as Global Vice President, Food & Beverage. Most recently, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer at RIKAS Hospitality Group, where he led a portfolio of premium lifestyle restaurants across the Middle East and Europe.
Vail Mountain has announced that Shaydar Edelmann has been appointed as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Edelmann currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of Heavenly Mountain Resort.
Accor has announced the appointment of Amit Malik as Vice President, People & Culture, South Asia at Accor. Amit brings over twenty years of experience to the role, joining from WadzPay where he held the role of President, Japan, Asia Pacific & Australia.
Fairmont announces the appointment of Damien Boyer as Global Director of Golf Strategy and Performance, based in Dubai. With over a decade of international experience across luxury hospitality and global sporting platforms, he will lead the development and execution of Fairmont’s golf vision worldwide.
The Grand, York hires Shekhar Grover as its new Hotel Manager. He brings 17 years’ experience to the role, joining from Fairmont St Andrews in Fife, where he was director of food and beverage.
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Tarun Ratra as Director, Franchise Operations, Eurasia, and Veenu Rastogi as Head of Sales and Marketing, Eurasia.
Both leaders come with more than two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, with deep expertise spanning operations, commercial strategy, stakeholder management, and multi-property portfolio performance, having worked with leading global hospitality brands.
Outrigger Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Marrissa Beauregard as Social Media Director, to oversee the company’s end-to-end social media strategy.
The company has also appointed Daniel Lofton as Vice President of Hawai’i Revenue Strategy, reinforcing the company’s commitment to driving performance, innovation and brand growth across its Hawai’i portfolio.
Atmosphere Core has announced the promotion of Christopher Baker to Vice President of Operations. In this role, he will oversee operational performance and growth across the brand portfolio in India, Italy, Maldives, and Nepal. His career spans senior leadership roles with established global hospitality companies, such as Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Resorts and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
ENVI Lodges has hired Lianne Kelly-Maartens as its new Director of Sales & Marketing for Africa. She has previously held senior commercial leadership roles at a number of renowned hospitality brands, including Cape Grace, Matetsi Victoria Falls, and most notably, We Are Africa.
Spanish hotel chain H10 Hotels has named Simon McDermott as the new UK Sales & Promotions Manager. Simon has spent the last three years as UK & Ireland Business Development Manager for Palladium Hotel Group.
