Conor O’Leary has been promoted to Group Managing Director across The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire and Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire. Conor has been with Gleneagles since 2016 and has been Managing Director for the property since 2020.
ShaoWei Ong has been announced as the new Chief People & Culture Officer for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, taking over from Amanda Hyndman who will now focus solely on her position as Chief Operating Officer. ShaoWei was most recently Group Human Resources Director for both Jardine Schindler and Livi Bank.
Radisson Hotel Group have announced the redesignation of Nikhil Sharma to the role of Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia from his previous position as Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President.
Crown Resorts has announced the appointment of Ed Domingo as Chief Executive Officer of Crown Melbourne. Ed joins from MGM Resorts where he held the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of Empire City Casino in New York.
B&B Hotels have promoted Jan Grossmann to Chief Operating Officer for Central and Northern Europe from his previous position as HR Director for Central and Northern Europe, and the appointment of Maximilian Abele to Brand Director for the region. Maximilian was previously Vice President of Marketing, Brand Management & Communications at Lindner Hotel Group.
Alessandro Redaelli has joined Hilton as Vice President of Operations for North Africa & Levant based in Hilton’s Cairo office. He previously held the role of General Manager for Conrad, Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.
Alice Harrington-Caravello has been promoted by Marriott International to Managing Vice President, Sales & Distribution for the Eastern Region from her previous position as Vice President, Sales & National Group Sales.
Accor has named Vinay Narang as Director, Marketing & Communications Consultant for India and South Asia. Prior to joining Accor, Vinay was serving as Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications for Sarovar Hotels & Resorts.
Mary Beth Cutshall has joined Vision Hospitality Group as Chief Growth Officer. She was most recently Managing Partner and Founder for Amara Capital Group, a consultancy and investment group focused on hospitality and real estate properties throughout the US and Europe.
Rosewood has named Katya Herting as the new Managing Director for Rosewood, Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands. Katya was most recently General Manager at Raffles, Bali.
Tod Chambers has taken the role of General Manager for Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills. He joins from The Roosevelt Hotel – A Waldorf Astoria Hotel where he held the same role.
Richie Kavanagh has been promoted by Atlantis Paradise Island to Vice President and General Manager of The Reef Residences. Richie has been with the iconic resort in the Bahamas for over three years, previously serving as Assistant General Manager for The Cove and The Reef Residences.
Hyatt Hotel, Canberra – A Park Hyatt Hotel has announced the appointment of Shane Jolly as General Manager. He has previously held leadership roles with luxury brands including Hyatt, The Langham and The Peninsula.
Scott Schaefer has joined Crowne Plaza, Hobart as General Manager. Scott has over 20 years of experience, most recently opening new hotels including Holiday Inn, Dandenong and Hotel X Brisbane, Fortitude Valley.
Vomo Island Resort, Fiji has appointed Leon Pink as the new General Manager. Leon has held key leadership roles for prestigious resorts including Lizard Island, Elements of Byron, Sails in the Desert, Outrigger Koh Samui and has worked with brands including Four Seasons and One & Only.
The Westin, Harbour Castle in Toronto has named Scott Turyk as the new General Manager. Scott most recently held the role of Area Director, Revenue Management at Marriott International.
Four Seasons has announced the appointment of Michel Eschmann as Director of Food & Beverage for Four Seasons Resort, Bali at Jimbaran Bay. He joins from St Regis, Osaka where he held the same role.
Jean Paul Lourdes has been appointed Culinary Director for the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. He has previously held key roles at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach and two-Michelin started restaurant; Sketch in London.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced the promotion of Ludovic Cayacy to the role of Director of Operations for Four Seasons Hotel, New York Downtown, from his previous position as Commercial Director at Four Seasons Hotel, Philadelphia.
Aafrin Shaikh has joined Radisson as Cluster Director of Marketing & PR for Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City and Park Inn by Radisson, Dubai Motor City. Aafran brings a wealth of experience from hospitality brands including Mövenpick, Marriott and H hotels.
Accor has announced that Michael Parsons has taken the role of Cluster Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales for the Sofitel, Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa and the newly opened Raffles Sentosa, Singapore – the first all-villa property in the country. Michael previously served as Senior Vice President for Travel & Leisure Co, Asia Pacific.
