Atlantis Dubai has announced the promotion of Kym Barter  to the position of Managing Director for Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis, The Royal as well as Aquaventure World. Kym joined the group in 2021, initially leading the food & beverage division before being appointed General Manager & Senior Vice President of Atlantis, The Palm in 2023.

Virgin Hotels has appointed Paloma Martinez  to the role of Vice President of Operations, Americas. She joins from her previous role as Area General Manager for IHG Hotels & Resorts and has also previously worked with Six Senses and Kimpton Hotels.

Christopher Pong has announced that he is to resign from his position as Managing Director for Shangri-La Hotels  effective from 31 May 2026. Christopher has held the role of Managing Director since March 2024 and prior to this he served as Head of Investment & Asset Management at Shangri-La Asia.

Outrigger Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Nathan Decker  as Director of Group Sales. He most recently served as Global Sourcing Consultant for Pilina Global Events & Sourcing and has also held leadership roles with Waldorf Astoria, Auberge Resorts Collection and Ritz-Carlton.

Emily Rodriguez has been promoted to Global Vice President, Human Resources, Lifestyle at Hyatt  . She has been with the group for over twenty years, previously serving as Vice President, Human Resources, driving people strategy across multiple business units in the Americas.

Hyatt Regency in Manchester has announced two key appointments to its senior leadership team. Harry Fitton takes the role of Director of Operations, returning to Hyatt, Regency and Hyatt House, Manchester hotels after being part of the pre-opening team in 2019. Rachel Askem  has been appointed as Director of Sales, joining from Hilton, Manchester Deansgate where she led Corporate, Group and MICE business.

Accor has named Rob McIntyre  as the new Vice President, Operations for New Zealand & Fiji. Rob brings a deep understanding of the market, having previously held senior leadership roles across the country, and has also led the flagship Pullman, Singapore Orchard.

EOS Hospitality has appointed Matt Kerver  to the role of Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage. Matt brings over twenty years experience in hospitality leadership to the group which currently operates around 64 hotels and resorts across the United States.

US-based outdoor focused Trailborn Hotels has announced the appointment of Paul Eckert  as Chief Operations Officer ahead of the group’s highly anticipated openings in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Mendocino, California. Most recently Paul held the role of Executive Vice President of Operations & Business Intelligence at Davidson Hospitality Group.

Duncan Bond has joined Conrad, Maldives Rangali Island  as Hotel Manager. He brings over 15 years of international experience to the role, having previously served as General Manager of Hotel Indigo, The Hague – Noordeinde Palace.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has announced two key appointments with Frédéric Marti joining as Resort Manager and João Miguel Pais  as Director of Food & Beverage. Already based in the Maldives, Frédéric oversaw the daily operations of an ultra-luxury resort and João relocates from Spain where he led F&B operations for a Forbes Five Star luxury hotel.

Alejandro Lopez has been named as the new Director of Food & Beverage for Four Seasons Hotel, Gresham Palace, Budapest  . Alejandro has been with Four Seasons since 2008 and has held F&B roles in Madrid, Lisbon and Paris.

Miraval Resorts and Spas has appointed Hanna Kulyba  as Director of Wellness for Miraval, The Red Sea. Hanna joins the pre-opening team for the property from her previous role as Senior Manager, Spa & Wellness at Address Hotels & Resorts.
