The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited , owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, has appointed Julien Munoz into the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Julien previously served as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Committee member for Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, overseeing a portfolio of hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, entertainment venues and casinos.
Rob Mangiarelli has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer for Atrium Hospitality . He has been with the group for nearly four years, holding the role of President since December 2022.
EasyHotel has appointed Guillermo Burgers Díaz as Director of Operations for Spain, following recent openings in Madrid and Barcelona. Guillermo brings over 20 years of experience to the role, having previously held senior positions at brands including Hilton, Conrad and Steigenberger.
Hani Daher has been announced as Vice President, Operations for New Zealand at Millennium Hotels & Resorts . He joins from Travel + Leisure Co. International where he was responsible for a 14-property portfolio across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and Far North Queensland.
Panos Loupasis has taken the role of Vice President of Development for the Middle East, Africa and Asia for United Hospitality Management . He joins from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts where he held the position of Managing Director for Turkey, the Middle East and Africa.
MGM Resorts International has announced several key leadership appointments; Ayesha Molino has been named as Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1 January 2026. She is currently President and COO of ARIA and Vdara, two of the group’s properties in Las Vegas, and has also been serving as the group’s Chief Public Affairs Officer since 2017. Steve Zanella has been promoted to President & CEO of the group’s Japan operations, responsible for the development of MGM Osaka, Japan’s first integrated resort and casino. Steve previously held the role of President of Operations for MGM Resorts.
Kasia Demesne has been named as the new General Manager for Ballyfin Demesne . She joins from Park Hotel, Kenmare where she served as General Manager and has also worked in senior positions at The Landsdowne, Kenmare, Sheen Falls Lodge and Trump International Golf Links & Hotel in Co. Clare.
Safwan Abu Risheh has joined Raffles, Dubai as General Manager. He has over 25 years of international experience in luxury hospitality and joins from Rosewood, Georgia in Vancouver where he held the role of Managing Director.
Marriott International has announced the appointment of Karl Hudson as General Manager for JW Marriott, Singapore South Beach. Karl most recently served as Regional Vice President for Japan and Guam and has overseen the opening of more than 80 hotels for the group.
W, Goa has named Anuraag Kadam as the new Director of Human Resources. He brings extensive experience to the role, having previously worked with some of the world’s most prestigious leading brands including Hilton, Leela Palaces, and Taj Hotels.
